In Indian culture, Masala means a blend of spices, and chai simply means tea. So, Masala Chai is literally spiced tea. Our take on this treasured Indian drink combines premium Ceylon black tea with warming cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. Warm and inviting fragrance, zesty flavor and invigorating, aromatic finish. We suggest two heaping teaspoons per 8 oz cup, boiling water for 7-10 minutes. Sugar, cream or soy if desired.

Just what I was looking for

i bought this at a store in VA then couldn't find it again. I thought this was it, but the written description makes it sound like there is tea and spices together, it is just spices which is what I wanted. So happy! I would start with 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon per 8 ounces. Two heaping teaspoons as suggested in the description would be way too much.
