Ingredients: Chilli, Coriander, Turmeric, Pepper, Fenugreek, Salt.
Cooking Instructions: Smear the sliced fish with chilly powder and salt, keep aside 30 minutes. Then fry it till it is lighty brown on both sides. Then brown the onion and add the ginger, green chilly, garlic and curry leaves. Fry this for 2 minutes. Add the tomato and saute. Nellara fish curry masala in water and saute along with the other ingredients for 30 seconds. Add 2 cups (16 oz) of water and salt to taste. Cover and biol. Add the fish and cook it on a low fire till the gravy thickens. This recipe can also be followed without frying the fish. When cooking done in microwave, timing may be suitably adjusted.
